Zhi Heng Su

He was born in Liaoling, China, learning calligraphy and traditional Chinese painting first with his father and uncle. Su specializes in painting nature ¨C- fish, lotus, abstract mountain landscapes and water. After graduating from the University of the Province of Liaoling, he founded a calligraphy association and continues his work on the fostering of these ancient arts.


Qin, Qi, Shu, Hua, the Chinese four arts was the motivation for him to learn guzheng and guqin during his university study as the second major. In his painting and calligraphy, Su combines the melodic line and harmonic texture of music into his visual representation.
